About us
We’re an East London studio, founded by architect and designer Tomaso and Jonas. We design, engineer and build bespoke garden studios under one roof, so every studio is practical, beautiful and made to last.
Our story
More room for London
Space in London is hard to come by. During their years in architecture, Tomaso and Jonas kept meeting people who needed more of it: families outgrowing their homes, artists without a studio, small businesses and community groups with nowhere to grow.
In 2016 they began designing their own modular structures, shown at Milan Design Week, the Venice Biennale, London Design Festival and the London Festival of Architecture.
My Room in the Garden is built on the same ideas: modular design, aiming for zero waste, quick assembly and a space shaped around you. Over a hundred London projects later, every studio is still designed this way.

Why work with us
Architectural design
Our founders trained and worked in architecture. We design every studio around your space in 3D, so you see exactly what you’re getting before anything is made.
One team, one agreed price
No separate designers and builders to manage. We agree the design and the cost with you upfront, and stick to them.
Sustainable timber and ply
Charred larch cladding outside, radiata pine plywood inside and 100mm PIR insulation, so your studio stays warm and dry all year round.
Made in London, less time on site
We cut every part on our own CNC machine and assemble it in our London workshop, so the main structure is up on site in 1–2 days.
