A warm, industrial-style creative studio

Designed for a compact city garden in Croydon, this 12m² creative studio needed no planning application. Its cladding gives it a crisp, modern edge outside, and a skylight brings daylight down into the room.

Inside, OSB boards on the walls and floor give it an industrial feel that's still warm and homely. It's a hard-wearing, easy-going space for making, thinking and getting messy, with room to change as projects do.
